RUPLASTICA
(Russia Plastics & Rubber Exhibition)
From January 27 to 30, RUPLASTICA—the Russia Plastics & Rubber Exhibition—opened in grand fashion in Moscow. As one of the largest and most influential professional trade fairs for the plastics and rubber industry in Russia, the event brought together equipment manufacturers and industry professionals from around the world, providing an efficient platform for networking, technology exchange, and business cooperation.
Mr. Liu Shengwei, General Manager of GUANGDONG BAST EXTRUTECH CO., LTD along with the company’s overseas sales manager, attended the show and held in-depth discussions with customers and partners.

In response to common challenges in the Russian market—such as aging equipment, insufficient production line efficiency, and the need for improved operational stability—BAST presented its core advanced technologies and customized solutions with a clear focus on “higher efficiency, stable output, and cost reduction.” The company highlighted solutions for legacy line upgrades and digitalized production needs, helping local manufacturers optimize production rhythm, reduce overall operating costs, and better meet the industry’s urgent demand for “cost reduction and efficiency improvement.”

According to data, China accounted for 12.5% of Russia’s total imports in the plastics and rubber industry in 2025, indicating growing cooperation potential between the two markets. With regional supply chains undergoing accelerated restructuring, new opportunities for market expansion are becoming increasingly evident. This participation not only served as a key opportunity for BAST to showcase its technical capabilities and connect with industry resources, but also strengthened the foundation for its long-term development in Russia and other Russian-speaking markets. Looking ahead, BAST will continue to invest in R&D, advance process innovation and lean manufacturing, enhance localized service responsiveness, and work closely with partners to drive industrial upgrading together.

孟加拉国际塑料、印刷及包装工业展
On January 28, the 18th Bangladesh International Plastics, Printing & Packaging Industrial Expo officially opened in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. As one of the country’s largest and most comprehensive industry events, covering the widest range of the value chain, this year’s expo attracted over 400 exhibitors from multiple countries worldwide. The event showcased a full spectrum of products and technologies—from raw materials and smart equipment to high-end finished products and green solutions—drawing a steady stream of professional visitors for on-site discussions and networking.

At present, Bangladesh’s manufacturing sector is entering a fast track of upgrading and export-oriented growth. Demand for plastics, printing, and packaging continues to rise across sectors such as food packaging, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, and infrastructure development. Meanwhile, market needs for higher production capacity, improved equipment precision, and enhanced operational stability are becoming increasingly clear. IPF has not only served as an important platform for product and technology展示, but also as a window into how South Asia’s manufacturing industry is advancing toward higher precision and premium development.

With the advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative and deeper regional cooperation, economic and trade ties between China and Bangladesh are becoming closer. Chinese companies are gaining greater recognition in the local market for their strengths in technology, quality, and service. Looking ahead, Guangdong BAST will continue to monitor market trends in Bangladesh, deliver more on-site-oriented solutions and localized service support based on customers’ real production needs, and work with industry partners to seize opportunities in the South Asian market—driving the industry toward greater efficiency and higher quality growth.
